Fieldwire vs Procore

October 08, 2025
Fieldwire ($41.2M)
Fieldwire
Fieldwire is the field management platform construction pros count on to easily manage the jobsite.
Procore ($654M)
Procore
Procore is a software company that provides cloud-based construction management software.

Fieldwire and Procore are both American construction project management software. They offer tools for planning, tracking tasks and progress on the construction site, team communication and collaboration features, support viewing drawings and plans with annotations, provide cloud storage and mobile apps (iOS and Android).

But Fieldwire (founded in 2013) is more focused on field workers and foremen. It's a simpler app for small projects, primarily used on smartphone directly at jobsite. Fieldwire provides a free plan with limited functionality.

Procore (founded in 2002) is better suited for large projects from preconstruction to closeout. It supports integrations with dozens of third-party services needed for the entire project lifecycle, offers advanced analytics, modules for contract and financial management. Built-in AI helps make smarter decisions every step of the way. However, its licenses are more expensive and it requires longer user training.
