Fresha and Booksy are both online platforms for booking and managing business in the beauty and wellness industry. They allow clients to book available appointments online, send reminders via SMS and email, manage staff schedules and integrate with payment systems. Both are internationally available, support multiple countries and languages.

But Fresha (founded in 2015) is a UK-based platform offering a freemium model "free basic functionality plus a payment comission (~20%)". It features built-in marketplace where clients can search for suitable salons basing on ratings, reviews and location. Fresha's mobile app has a simple interface, making it easy for any salon owner to start using. Fresha is popular worldwide.

Booksy (2014) is an American service that offers a flat-fee model for salons and charges additional fees for promotion via Booksy marketplace. It also takes a commission on a customer's first order (~30%). The service primarily operates in the US, UK, Poland, Spain and Brazil, but is also expanding into other markets.
