Service Fusion vs ServiceTitan

September 28, 2025
Service Fusion
The preferred field service management software of over 3000 service businesses. Providing work order entry, dispatch, scheduling, and invoicing technology.
ServiceTitan ($1.5B)
ServiceTitan
ServiceTitan develops service management software that helps leading home services businesses generate more leads and close more sales.

Service Fusion and ServiceTitan are both online platforms for field service/contractor management. They enable dispatching, task management, inventory control, customer management, invoicing and integrate with payment getaways. Both provide mobile apps for field technicians. These platforms are suitable for air conditioning installers, plumbers, repair crews and companies selling and maintaining complex equipment.

But Service Fusion (founded in 2014) offers more integration options – it has ready-made synchronization with QuickBooks and a REST API for connecting with other systems. It also offers better real-time GPS tracking of fleets and technicians. The system can automate conversion of estimates into jobs and subsequent invoicing. However, it has limited capabilities for linking work time to projects/cost codes.

ServiceTitan (2012) is aimed at larger players and covers not only basic field service management but also marketing automation, CRM, finances and analytics. The system allows you to set up customized pricing rules for specific clients (separate markups, discounts and price lists). It also makes it easier to create project estimates, track expenses, compare budgets vs actual costs and generate payment requests. The company operates not only in the US but has also opened office in Europe (Armenia).
