Shopmonkey ($110M)
Shopmonkey
Shopmonkey provides a process management software designed for auto repair shops.
Tekmetric ($1.6M)
Tekmetric
Digital vehicle inspections, repair orders, inventory, job progress, customer communication, & much more.

Shopmonkey and Tekmetric are both cloud-based auto-repair-shop-management systems. They offer tools to manage orders, inventory, customer base, estimates, invoices and inspections (including digital inspection function), enable communication with customers via SMS and e-mail, integrate with external services (e.g. QuickBooks, PartsTech, etc.). Both services are American and focused on small and medium business.

But Shopmonkey (founded in 2016) is more popular service, positioned as an “all-in-one” solution for independent auto repair shops. It's known for simple interface, workflow automation and built-in financial services. It offers integration with third-party financial instruments, including payment processing and Buy-Now-Pay-Later providers.

Tekmetric (2015) is less functional but provides a flexible pricing model - without long-term contracts and with an unlimited number of users. Also, it offers advanced reports and analytics (KPI, profitability, productivity, etc.), more than 70 integrations, including ALLDATA, Advance Auto Parts, etc. It provides mobile application and the ability to manage multiple stores.
